Generative AI Engineer (Python)
Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite)
Duration: 12-Month Contract

We are seeking a highly skilled Generative AI Engineer with a strong Python background to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, Gen AI frameworks, and scalable AI application development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Generative AI models for text, image, and multimodal applications.
- Develop prompt engineering strategies and embedding-based retrieval systems.
- Build and integrate Gen AI capabilities into web applications and enterprise workflows.
- Develop agentic AI applications using context engineering and MCP tools.
- Create scalable AI solutions leveraging modern MLOps practices.
- Work with vector databases and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures to enable semantic search and knowledge retrieval.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy AI solutions in cloud environments.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of Specialty Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Strong proficiency in Python and AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Hands-on experience building multi-agent systems using session and memory management techniques.
- Experience utilizing MCP tools in AI application development.
- Strong knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), transformers, and the Hugging Face ecosystem.
- Understanding of MLOps practices and scalable AI deployment methodologies.
- Experience with cloud-based AI services including AWS SageMaker, Azure OpenAI, and/or Google Vertex AI.
- Experience with vector databases and RAG techniques for semantic search applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing production-grade Generative AI solutions.
- Strong understanding of AI application architecture, performance optimization, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
