As a Senior Data Consultant - Hydro, you will be responsible for providing expert data analysis and consulting services to a hydro client in Ottawa, ON. You will work closely with our client to understand their business needs and provide them with data-driven solutions that help them achieve their goals.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and data requirements- Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights- Develop data models and visualizations to present findings and recommendations to clients- Working on bringing data into an existing data lake - Work with cross-functional teams to implement data solutions and ensure their effectiveness- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data analysis and technology- Provide guidance and support to junior data consultants on the teamQualifications:- Experience working with data and clients in the hydro or energy industry is mandatory - Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis and consulting- Prior working experience with Snowflake, Azure Databricks and Oracle- Strong knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools, such as SQL, Python, and Tableau- Experience wokring with data coming from Connexo is a plus- Excellent communication and presentation skills- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
