Responsibilities:
- Build Our AI Productivity Measurement System
- Instrument and track AI tool adoption (Cursor, Claude Code)
- Measure suggestion acceptance and AI-assisted PR trends
- Connect AI usage to real delivery outcomes
- Improve Engineering Flow & Predictability
- Implement DORA metrics (deployment frequency, lead time, change failure rate, recovery time)
- Build GitHub-based insights:
- PR cycle time (p50/p75)
- Review SLAs
- Throughput & WIP aging
- Merge → deploy timing
- Publish weekly scorecards and identify bottlenecks
- Protect Quality While Increasing Speed
- Enforce coverage standards (target: 80%)
- Monitor E2E health (Playwright pass rate, flakiness, time-to-fix)
- Track rework signals (churn, reverts, hotfixes)
- Ensure velocity gains don't hide reliability regressions
- Build the Data & Automation Layer
- Standardize PR templates and labels (risk, AI usage, rollout plans)
- Automate ingestion from GitHub, CI/CD, and AI tools
- Deliver a unified dashboard (team-level metrics only — no individual ranking)
- Establish privacy-conscious governance standards
- What Success Looks Like Within 6-12 months:
- PR cycle time improves measurably
- Rework and defect rates remain flat or decline
- Reliability metrics do not regress as throughput increases
- AI adoption clearly correlates with delivery improvements
- Engineering leaders rely on your dashboards for decision-making
- 6 years of software engineering experience (platform or backend preferred)
- Experience with GitHub APIs, CI/CD systems, and engineering analytics
- Familiarity with DORA/Four Keys metrics
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (Playwright preferred)
- Strong systems thinking — able to balance speed, reliability, and sustainability
- Comfortable working across engineering, platform, and leadership stakeholders
- Experience with AI developer tools
- Experience building internal analytics or developer platforms
- Background in developer experience (DevEx) or engineering enablement
