Power BI Dashboard

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Banking clients in Farmington Hills, MI or Frisco, TX.

Responsibilities :

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Power BI Dashboard Analyst to design, develop, and optimize interactive dashboards that deliver actionable insights to stakeholders. This role will work across multiple data sources and tools, blending technical skills with strong business acumen to ensure our reporting and analytics meet evolving business needs.
  
  

Required Skills:

• Design, build, and maintain visually compelling and user-friendly Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Analyze and interpret project portfolio data from Excel, Power BI datasets, CAPPM, and Jira to provide actionable insights.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline reporting processes.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and ensure reporting aligns with strategic objectives.
• Optimize data models and queries for performance and scalability.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting solutions.
• Provide training, documentation, and support to end-users for Power BI and related tools.
• Monitor and adopt emerging features in the Microsoft Power Platform to enhance capabilities.
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Proven experience with Power BI development, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
• Experience integrating and analyzing data from multiple sources (e.g., Excel, CAPPM, Jira).
• Hands-on experience with Power Automate or similar workflow automation tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business questions into data solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical audiences.
