Job Description :
We’re looking for a seasoned WCS Developer to design build and modernize ECommerce capabilities by refactoring legacy WCS components into Spring Boot based microservices integrating with search pricing promo item catalog and order cart checkout domains and collaborating with frontend squads implementing React The ideal candidate brings deep Java WCS expertise solid microservices architecture skills and hands on experience integrating with Kafka REST GraphQL and cloud native toolchains

Key Responsibilities

· Design Development Backend

• Implement Spring Boot microservices for itemcatalog pricepromo inventory search integration cart checkout orders and BFF integration layers
• Refactor WCS customizations Catalog Order Member Payment Solr Search Commerce Composer into domain aligned services with clear API contracts REST GraphQL

Integration Data Orchestration

· Build orchestration and saga flows to aggregate data across WCSOMSPIMERP implement cachefirst strategies Redis NoSQL and streaming data sync from JDAWCS

· Implement Kafka topics for asynchronous events ensure schema governance and backward compatibility via BFF adapter layers

Quality Security Observability

· Own unitintegrationcontracte2e tests instrument services using Actuator Open Telemetry Prometheus Grafana design resilience patterns circuit breakers retries

· Implement OAuth2JWTRBAC audit logging and secure API design aligned with enterprise standards.

Frontend Collaboration Nice to have

· Partner with React teams on GraphQL schemas and API design support PLPDSL browse PDP flows migration from WCS to microservices

DevOps Delivery

· Contribute to CICD pipelines Docker Kubernetes performance tuning and phased cut overshypercare during releases.

Must Have Skills

· Core Java 811 Spring Boot Spring MVC Web Flux REST APIs microservices architecture JPA Hibernate SQL NoSQL

· Commerce Strong hands on with HCL Commerce IBM WCS 789 including Catalog Order Member Payment Solr and customizations extensions

· Integration Kafka API gateways messaging patterns GraphQL exposure for BFF layers caching Redis search integration eg Solr Coveo

· Quality Ops Unit integration contract testing performance profiling observability Actuator Prometheus Open Telemetry resilience patterns

· Ways of Working Agile Scrum backlog refinement code reviews secure coding ability to lead development and collaborate with offshore teams.

Nice to Have

· Frontend React Nextjs fundamentals GraphQL client server collaboration SEO performance for browse PDPPLSL

Qualifications

· Bachelors Masters in Computer Science or related field.

· 10 years in Javawider JVM ecosystem 7 years in ECommerce WCSHCL Commerce.

· Proven delivery of microservices based ECommerce modernization programs.
