Soft Start Early Learning Academy is seeking a Support Educator to assist in creating a calm, nurturing, and structured classroom environment.
This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, attentive, and passionate about early childhood development.
You will work alongside a Lead Educator to support daily classroom operations and ensure children feel safe, guided, and engaged.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily classroom routines and transitions
- Support children during learning activities, meals, and rest time
- Reinforce classroom expectations and behavior guidance strategies
- Help prepare materials and maintain classroom organization
- Supervise children to ensure safety at all times
- Assist with documentation and communication as needed
Qualifications
- Experience working with young children preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CDA or interest in pursuing early childhood education (preferred)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Patient, attentive, and reliable
