Key Responsibilities
- Lead vibration analysis activities including data collection, route development, spectrum interpretation, and reporting
- Analyze equipment failures and perform root cause failure analysis on rotating equipment such as motors, pumps, gearboxes, and fans
- Develop and support predictive maintenance programs including vibration monitoring, thermography, ultrasound, and oil analysis
- Monitor equipment performance and maintenance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Work closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams to prioritize corrective actions based on reliability data
- Support asset criticality assessments and reliability centered maintenance strategies
- Drive reliability improvement projects to extend equipment life and eliminate chronic failures
- Support the maintenance and optimization of condition monitoring tools and systems
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to equipment performance and maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with plant safety standards and company policies
- Participate in cross functional teams to support plant reliability and continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred
- 5 or more years of experience in reliability engineering, vibration analysis, or maintenance engineering within a manufacturing environment
- Strong experience with vibration analysis and rotating equipment diagnostics
- Vibration Analysis Certification (ISO Category III or similar) preferred
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies including vibration monitoring, ultrasound, thermography, and oil analysis
- Experience working with CMMS systems such as SAP or similar platforms
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in a cross functional manufacturing environment
