Duties
- Safely transport food from the kitchen to tables, ensuring correct orders and presentation standards are maintained
- Assist with food preparation tasks and food handling to support kitchen operations when needed
- Clear and bus tables efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization in dining areas
- Handle heavy lifting and manual handling tasks in accordance with safe lifting practices to move supplies or equipment
- Support cleaning duties including wiping down surfaces, sweeping floors, and maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and guests to coordinate timely service
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with safe lifting practices
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, guest-focused attitude
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility in shifts
