Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring all special requests are noted.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, handling cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with integrity.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas according to food safety regulations.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, spirits, and menu options based on guest preferences.
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed during busy periods or special events such as nightlife or fine dining nights.

Experience

• Previous food service experience in restaurants, cafes, or nightlife venues is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is advantageous.
• Experience in fine dining or upscale environments enhances your ability to deliver exceptional service.
• Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques is desirable.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts.
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash securely.
• Demonstrated commitment to food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry.
