The Retail Producer contributes to the Agency’s mission by performing regular duties and responsibilities: Greet donors and assist with collecting, sorting, pricing, and stocking of donated items. This position is located at 4420 Dixie Highway. Louisville, KY 40216.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet donors in a courteous manner
- Safely empty boxes and bags of donated items
- Sort, Price and Stock items
- Other duties as assigned
Specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Ability to communicate with and assist customers, volunteers and donors
- Great people skills
- Ability to perform physical, manual labor, especially with hands for long periods of time
- Ability to stand and walk/remain on feet for long periods (essential to the job)
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds with or without help (essential to the job)
- Commitment to the Mission and goals of St Vincent de Paul
- Knowledge/interest in electronics is a plus
