University Programs Administrator

Pay Range: $50,000-$60,000

This is a hybrid position that is based in our Chicago/O’Hare Area office. Applicants must live within a 100-mile radius of home office to be considered for the role.

Your Purpose: supports university programs and academic initiatives within the Education department, with primary responsibility for the University-Earned Credit (UEC) program and an additional SOA testing program. This role reports to the Manager, University Programs, and collaborates with Education staff and other departments to ensure effective coordination of university-related programs.

What You’ll Do:

University-Earned Credit (UEC) Program

• Support the UEC Oversight Committee (OC) and External Examiners (EE)
• Manage applications for university approvals and candidate credits, ensuring requirements are met and records maintained
• Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Service, Exams Registrar, IT) to apply credits to transcripts

Exam Reviewer Pool (ERP)

• Provide system support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate member payments

Academic Initiatives

• Review and process academic travel and exam fee reimbursements
• Respond to inquiries and requests from universities

University Engagement

• Build and maintain relationships with faculty, students, and stakeholders
• Share SOA announcements and opportunities; represent Education at meetings and events

General Support

• Assist Manager, University Programs with data collection and reporting
• Perform other tasks as assigned

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2 years administrative experience, ideally in an association, university, or educational/training setting
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills (oral and written)
• Ability to demonstrate diplomacy and professionalism in representing the organization internally and externally
• Proficient in Office 365; able to work independently
• Skilled at building relationships with senior volunteers and university contacts
• Comfortable presenting to diverse audiences
