THE COMPANY:
Social Vocational Services (SVS) has been serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout California since 1977.
THE POSITION:
We’re looking for full-time Direct Support Professionals (or as we call them Community Inclusion Facilitators) at one of our Fresno program offices.
- Supervise and monitor clients during daily activities (including, but not limited to: paid work, social skills building, art, recreation, volunteering)
- Provide transportation to and from program and community activities
- Assist with personal hygiene needs
- Assess, evaluate, implement and chart client’s progress on goals and objectives
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good driving record and valid California driver’s license
- Post-job offer, must obtain DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance
- Must pass post-job offer job-related physical exam including TB test and drug screen
- First Aid/CPR certification (SVS will provide)
- Effective written and verbal communication
