What are the responsibilities and job description for the Photo Booth Attendant position at Social Spark Photo Booths?
Photo Booth Attendant - Weekend Events
Social Spark Photo Booths is hiring dependable, friendly attendants for weddings, parties, and corporate events throughout New York's Capital Region. We're especially interested in people who can cover Friday afternoons and evenings, Saturdays, and occasional Sundays.
Pay and schedule
Pay starts at $250 per event, with rates up to $350 depending on relevant experience and the responsibilities agreed for the role. The daily pay range shown on this listing represents one event assignment. Hours vary by event and include setup, operation, and breakdown. Event details and the assignment rate are confirmed in advance. Work is based on bookings; a set number of events or hours is not guaranteed.
What you'll do
- Transport our photo booth and supplies to the venue, set up, and pack down after the event.
- Welcome guests, explain the booth, help with photos and prints, and keep the experience friendly and organized.
- Follow equipment instructions and handle basic troubleshooting, contacting the team when needed.
- Communicate clearly with the event team and arrive at the agreed setup time.
- Keep company-owned booth equipment securely between assignments and care for it responsibly. You do not purchase the booth.
What the mobile role requires
- Live in the Capital Region with reliable transportation to local and regional event venues.
- A valid driver's license and regular access to an SUV, van, or equivalent vehicle that can safely fit the equipment. Vehicle fit will be confirmed during onboarding.
- A secure, suitable place to keep the equipment between events, plus willingness to take responsibility for company equipment in your possession.
- Regular Friday afternoon/evening and Saturday availability, with occasional Sunday availability. Tell us about existing commitments so we can plan accurately.
- Ability to perform setup and breakdown duties, including moving equipment weighing up to 50 lbs, with reasonable accommodation where needed.
- A welcoming manner with guests, dependable follow-through, and comfort learning photo booth software and basic equipment troubleshooting.
Customer service, hospitality, event, or photo booth experience is helpful. Photography or film experience is a plus, not a requirement.
To apply
Please include your town, vehicle model, storage arrangement, usual Friday/Saturday/Sunday availability, any known unavailable dates over the next two months, and a brief summary of relevant experience.
Interested in venue-only relief work?
We also occasionally need attendants for a booth already located at Hiland Park Country Club in Queensbury. Those assignments do not require transporting or storing the booth. Mention venue-only work in your application if that is your preference; reliable transportation to the venue is still needed.
