What are the responsibilities and job description for the IHSS Case Manager position at Social Service Staffing & Recruiting, Inc.?
We are hiring for 2 new temps to work as temporary Social Worker I's providing support to IHSS clients. These assignments are planned for 3 - 6 months, starting early Nov. and will pay $37 - $41/ hr. The schedule would be 8am-5pm with 1 hr. lunch. Car is required as the temp will do 2 home visits/ day. Work requires travel within the county to clients’ homes to conduct home visit assessments for services and case processing in the assigned work location.These positions will support the In-Home Supportive Services Division (IHSS) in conducting reassessments for IHSS Services. Social workers will conduct case research/reviews, drive to clients’ homes and conduct reassessment interviews, assist clients in completing required forms, document case notes, complete data entries in a state eligibility determination system, process eligibility, provide customer service and referrals to aged, blind and disabled customers, and other related case actions as assigned.
