Summary
This position is located in the Division of Computer Operations Production Control (DCOPC) and performs duties in one of the DCOPC branches, relating to the planning and coordination of batch workloads, the development of batch scheduling algorithms and the integration and environmental testing of these workloads.

Regularly represents the component at meetings with representatives of other components within SSA regarding the planning for new/revised workloads.Performs analysis, implementation, maintenance and updating of batch related databases.Prepares and analyzes reports and participates in the implementation of new production workloads and/or procedures.Analyzes existing modes of data center multi-platform batch operations, develops and selects alternatives, and implements changes to enhance data center productivity.Analyzes the integration and environmental testing of new and revised workloads.Coordinates and analyzes tests file transmission processes.

Such IT-related experience must include: Experience advising on technology roadmaps, optimizing IT processes, managing vendors, ensuring federal IT mandate adherence (e.g., Section 508, cybersecurity), coordinating the correction of file errors, and facilitating new system integration. Experience with operational and strategic guidance for IT initiatives under the SSA Special Notice Option project (SNO workload), braille productions equipment and contract support. Experience documenting and presenting all evaluations and findings such as; creating statistical trend analysis reports, authoring recommendations, creating presentations, delivering and formal briefings to management.
