About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our fast-paced warehouse team. As a leading promotional products distributor managing 50 custom eCommerce stores, we handle high-volume, complex inventory flows.

In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for all incoming merchandise, ensuring every item—from apparel to tech accessories—is accurately received, documented, and prepared for Quality Control, kitting, inventory, or fulfillment. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our supply chain and requires strong technical proficiency and attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Receiving & Inventory Management

  • Perform all inbound receiving functions within NetSuite and the integrated WMS, ensuring real-time inventory accuracy.
  • Reconcile incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and system records; identify and report discrepancies or damages.
  • Label, bin, and slot incoming merchandise to optimize warehouse organization and picking efficiency.
  • Manage all inbound shipments and customer exchanges within NetSuite.

Multi-Program Coordination

  • Organize and stage products for 50 unique e-Commerce programs, ensuring accurate routing to appropriate internal teams.

Data Entry & System Accuracy

  • Accurately enter and maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory data in internal systems
  • Ensure timely, precise data entry to support inventory accuracy and order fulfillment

Communication & Problem Solving

  • Partner with Procurement and Account Management teams to quickly resolve shipping issues, discrepancies, and backorders.

Quality Control

  • Inspect incoming products for defects, branding accuracy, and overall quality
  • Ensure all items meet company standards before being released into inventory

Cross-Functional Support (During Downtime)

  • Execute pick, pack, and ship functions while maintaining high productivity and accuracy standards.
  • Prioritize orders by ship date and specific customer accounts.
  • Support specialized kitting projects and custom order fulfillment using the Social Imprints work order (WO) System.
  • Track productivity through detailed work order reporting.

About You:

Technical Skills

  • Experience using NetSuite or a similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.
  • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with spreadsheets, email, and data entry systems (WMS and order management system).
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and troubleshoot technical issues.

Industry Experience

  • Background in promotional products, apparel, or multi-client third-party logistics (3PL) environment is a major plus.

Core Competencies

  • Exceptional attention to detail with a “zero-error” mindset (checking SKUs, quantities, and product specifications)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
