Equity Trading & Operations Associate
Role Summary
Seeking an Equity Trading & Operations Analyst to support trade execution, portfolio reporting, performance analysis, and operational processes for an equity investment team. This role works closely with trading, operations, compliance, and back-office teams to ensure accurate execution, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support daily equity trade execution and settlement activities
- Monitor portfolio cash positions, fund performance, and allocation reporting
- Maintain and update portfolio performance, ratings, and market data
- Ensure trades are completed accurately and in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Partner with operations, compliance, brokers, and back-office teams to resolve trade or reporting issues
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal stakeholders
- Assist with automation and process improvement projects alongside operations and IT teams
- Support database management and portfolio attribution analysis
- Help identify operational risks, discrepancies, and process enhancements
- Provide administrative and analytical support to the investment and operations teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
- 2–4 years of financial services experience, including experience in a trading or investment operations environment
- Understanding of equity markets, trading workflows, portfolio administration, or fund management
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with Bloomberg and financial research/trading systems
- Familiarity with AIM, VBA, SQL, or related analytical tools is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills
Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
