Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of bartenders, fostering a positive and efficient work environment
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality
- Manage bar inventory, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, alcohol regulations, and cleanliness protocols in all food handling and serving activities
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any concerns promptly
- Oversee cash handling, cashiering duties, and POS transactions accurately during shifts
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for seamless service during events such as banquets or nightclub nights
- Maintain a thorough understanding of beverage menus, specials, and promotions to maximize sales opportunities
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments or nightclubs with banquet experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; basic math skills for retail math and cash handling are essential
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service in fast-paced environments within the food industry or hospitality sector
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving regulations
- Experience with catering events or large-scale food service operations is advantageous
- Ability to lead by example, motivate team members, and uphold high standards of service excellence
