Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Tournament Staff. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of various tournaments, providing support to participants, and enhancing the overall experience for all attendees. As a member of the Tournament Staff, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and organized environment.
Duties
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of tournament venues, including arranging equipment and signage.
- Provide excellent customer service to participants, answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Monitor tournament progress, ensuring adherence to schedules and rules.
- Facilitate registration processes for participants, including checking in players and distributing materials.
- Coordinate with other staff members to ensure efficient communication and operations throughout the event.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tournament area during events.
- Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by event coordinators.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure during busy tournament periods.
- Previous experience in event management or customer service is a plus but not required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed.
- A passion for sports or gaming is highly desirable.
