Associate Recruiter

SOC, LLC is seeking an Associate Recruiter to support our client’s internal Talent Acquisition team at its client's Bridgeton, Missouri facility.

Location: Bridgeton, Missouri

Work Format: Full-time, hybrid onsite, hybrid flexibility is available for Monday & Friday, every other Friday off.

Duration: 6 months, with potential full-time hire on to client

The selected recruiter will partner with hiring managers to identify recruiting needs, develop targeted sourcing strategies, and attract qualified technical professionals, with a particular emphasis on engineering positions.

This role requires a proactive recruiter who understands competitive technical labor markets, can engage passive candidates, and maintains strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements, technical qualifications, and recruiting priorities.
• Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies for technical and engineering positions.
• Proactively identify, engage, and recruit passive candidates.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for hard-to-fill engineering positions.
• Evaluate candidate qualifications against open requisitions.
• Conduct candidate prescreening and support behavioral interviews.
• Manage candidate communication, applicant flow, and recruitment timelines.
• Support or independently manage full-cycle recruiting and selection processes as assigned.
• Maintain accurate candidate records, recruiting activity, and reporting within the Applicant Tracking System.
• Develop creative sourcing approaches to attract qualified candidates in competitive labor markets.
• Deliver a positive candidate experience through timely communication and professional engagement.
• Collaborate with internal Talent Acquisition and Human Resources teams.
• Provide additional general HR support as needed.
• Support the organization's mission, values, and culture.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Experience recruiting technical professionals, particularly engineers.
• Demonstrated experience sourcing passive candidates using creative recruiting techniques.
• Background combining agency recruiting and in-house corporate recruiting.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and EEO hiring regulations.
• Experience with behavioral interviewing and candidate qualification.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking and recruitment management processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple recruiting assignments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

The following requirements must be met to be eligible for this position: Successful completion of a background investigation, and drug urinalysis.

Estimated Min Rate: $21.00

Estimated Max Rate: $30.00
