Summary
The Shipping & Receiving Clerk receives, stores, and distributes material, equipment, and products to departments internally as required.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Apply positive communication and interpersonal skills with guests, (internal and external) at all times.
- Convey material from receiving to storage or other designated areas, placing materials in designated holding areas selected by each department’s management.
- Fill requisitions or requests for material.
- Maintain accurate documentation of received and delivered items.
- Maintain excellent grooming and personal conduct according to Soboba Casino Standards.
- Must be physically present to work a regular, reliable, and predictable work schedule in accordance with business demands, and maintain a consistent and regular attendance record.
- Perform special projects and other responsibilities, tasks, or duties as requested.
Education / Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age, or older.
- High School diploma or equivalent, required.
- Microsoft Office Products knowledge including Excel, Outlook. Using basic functions such as: Creating and updating spreadsheets, scheduling meetings in outlook, basic email communications.
- Previous Fork lift/hand truck experience operating such equipment daily as part of normal job responsibilities.
- Must be able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the United States of America.
Certificates, licenses and registration
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission license.
- Required to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and/or alcohol testing.
- Forklift/Hand Truck Certification, preferred.
