A Day In The Life Of
As a member of our team, you will be assigned various tasks in the cleaning realm, from vacuuming, dusting, mopping, trash removal, etc. These are all most likely jobs that you have performed once, twice or many times in the past. You will be responsible for ensuring that the appropriate chemicals and cleaning supplies are stocked, and all equipment is in clean and operable condition for the day's work. Your people skills will come in handy and will help you to maintain fantastic professional relationships with your fellow team members and those that we serve.

- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, vacuums hallways, stairs, office space, etc.
- Empties all trash receptacles and replaces trash can liners as needed.
- Restocks all supplies as needed in all restrooms.
- Cleans surfaces, sinks, toilets, urinals, and mirrors/glass.
- Notifies janitorial supervisor of supplies and equipment that are needed.
- Good oral and written communication skills for positive and clear interactions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to do repetitious bending at the waist and kneeling.
- Completion of high school or GED preferred, but not required.
- Janitorial experience or experience in cleaning and maintaining assigned facilities/buildings in a manner that meets job expectations.
