As a member of our team, you will report to the Respite Supervisor. You will be instrumental in our commitment to provide a continuum of excellent care for individuals with disabilities. Your people skills will be crucial in making an impact and helping to change lives. This is a challenging and rewarding position. You will be responsible for providing a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment that works to foster growth and rehabilitation and strives to facilitate the development of the individual's ability to reach the highest level of independence.

- Assists program participants with daily living activities
- Completes daily documentation in electronic records system
- Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties
- Participate in service training

- Maintains documentation in compliance with all licensing agencies
- May involve lifting
- Physical interventions
- Obtains and maintains certifications in CPR/First Aid and TOVA throughout employment.
- High school diploma or equivalent degree (GED)
- Minimum one year of experience working with persons with disabilities preferred
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Computer skills and the ability to type daily documentation
