Duties
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and specifications.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and Civil 3D to develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to accurately execute project plans.
- Oversee daily construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate seamless project communication and coordination.
- Manage procurement processes including construction estimating and contract negotiations to optimize project costs.
- Monitor project progress through regular site inspections, progress reports, and updates using tools like Bluebeam for document review.
- Ensure timely resolution of issues related to project scope changes or unforeseen challenges using effective time management strategies.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of project activities, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and other critical records.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background New Multifamily projects.
- Demonstrated proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6 (Primavera), Bluebeam, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and other industry tools.
- Solid understanding of project scheduling techniques including critical path method (CPM) scheduling.
- Ability to read detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Experience managing contracts, subcontractors, and vendors effectively.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes to develop accurate budgets and bids.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
- Effective communication skills for clear collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
- Construction site experience is essential; familiarity with safety regulations is a must.
