Project Rep is a boutique Owner’s Representative firm managing a portfolio of high-end residential renovations and architectural masterpieces across Manhattan. As our project load expands—including current work with world-renowned architects and upcoming high-value developments—we are seeking a highly disciplined, detail-oriented Project Coordinator to serve as the Principal's "Right Hand."
This is a hybrid role requiring physical site presence in Manhattan for trade oversight and remote administrative management.
Core Responsibilities:
- Site Stewardship: Serve as the on-site point of contact during key work phases to protect the owner's assets and investment.
- Progress Documentation: Produce daily site reports and provide concise, professional updates supported by high-quality photo documentation.
- Systems Management: Enhance and maintain a standardized filing system (Google Drive). Track submittal logs, procurement schedules, budget logs, and basic client-facing timelines.
- Bid Coordination: Organize and categorize incoming subcontractor and vendor bids.
- Process Optimization: Assist in building out scalable project management systems and standardizing operating procedures for a growing boutique firm.
Qualifications:
- NYC Based: Must be able to commute to Manhattan sites.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills are mandatory. You must be able to communicate effectively with both skilled trades and high-net-worth clients.
- Tech Savvy: High proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive).
- Experience: Previous exposure to high-end residential construction, interior design, or luxury real estate is a significant bonus, but organizational intelligence is the priority.
- Demeanor: Professional, presentable, and observant. You understand the nuances of working in intimate, high-stakes home environments.
Compensation & Structure:
This is an Independent Contractor (1099) position.
- Schedule: 10–20 hours/week to start. As our project volume increases, there is significant opportunity for this to transition into a full-time role.
- Compensation: $52,000 – $78,000 (based on 20hr/week).
- Hourly Breakdown: $50.00 – $80.00 / hour, based on experience and the ability to implement high-level systems.
- Note: As a 1099 contractor, you will be responsible for your own equipment (laptop/mobile), tax withholdings, and insurances.
