We are looking for a motivated and reliable rec. aid to join us part time (11:00 am - 5:30 pm) The Rec. Aide's main duty will be to supervise students on playground at recess and lunch breaks. Student safety and diligent supervision will be the number 1 priority. Position Summary The Recreation & After School Aide (Dual Position) supports student supervision, safety, and engagement during both the instructional day and after school program hours. This role is responsible for providing active supervision, assisting with recreational, enrichment, and academic support activities, and maintaining a safe, structured, and positive environment for students before, during, and after school. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide active supervision of students during recess, lunch, arrival, dismissal, transitions, and after school program hours Ensure student safety and monitor behavior in accordance with school and program expectations Promote positive social interactions, inclusive play, and appropriate student conduct Assist with organizing and facilitating recreational, enrichment, and structured activities Support homework completion and academic enrichment during after school hours, as assigned Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with students at all times Intervene in minor conflicts and promptly report concerns, incidents, or injuries to school administration or program leadership Assist with student attendance, check-in, and dismissal procedures during after school programming Help with setup, cleanup, and organization of activity areas, materials, and supplies Support schoolwide behavior expectations and discipline procedures Communicate effectively with supervising staff regarding student needs, behavior, or safety concerns Follow all school policies related to student supervision, safety, mandated reporting, and emergency procedures Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Expe
