We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Short Order Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that all ingredients are prepped efficiently and safely for our kitchen operations. This position requires a passion for food service and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, a long with a team mentality.

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Short Order Line/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and a love for creating delicious meals. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring that all food safety standards are met, and contributing to menu planning and catering efforts. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and enjoys working collaboratively with others.

Responsibilities

· Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.

· Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.

· Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service, including standard prep work tasks.

· Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as needed.

· Participate in catering events, providing exceptional service to guests.

* Be on time and teachable/coachable.

Skills

· Proven experience as a Short Order Line/Prep Cook in a restaurant or food service environment. Experience with cooking breakfast preferred.

· Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques.

· Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations within the kitchen.

· Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

· Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

· A passion for cooking and caring about guests
