Job Overview
We're looking for reliable independent contractor drivers to run delivery routes for HelloFresh out of our Salt Lake City facility. This is a great opportunity for owner-operators looking to add a consistent route to their schedule. We're currently hiring primarily for Monday routes, with route volume expected to grow especially heading into the winter season which may open up additional days.
Duties
- Pick up your route at our facility: 4521 W 1980 S #503, Salt Lake City, UT 84120
- Arrive by 6:00 AM for load-out
- Complete all deliveries by 8:00 PM
- Deliver approximately 110–130 packages on Monday routes (volume may increase seasonally)
Vehicle Requirements
- Cargo van strongly preferred (required for higher-volume routes)
- Large SUV or minivan may be considered depending on route assignment
- Vehicle must be in good working condition and able to safely carry delivery volume
Requirements
- 21 years old with a valid driver's license
- Cargo van, large SUV, or minivan (cargo van preferred)
- Valid vehicle registration and insurance meeting minimum liability requirements ($50k/$100k BI, $50k PD), or willingness to opt into commercial coverage
- Smartphone capable of running FarEye, CXT Driver, and Slack apps
- Ability to lift and carry grocery totes/boxes throughout the shift
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently
PAY & SCHEDULE
- $2.50 per package delivered, flat rate with 110–130 packages typical on Mondays, that's approximately $275–$325 for the day (often across fewer stops, since some households receive multiple boxes)
- No hidden fees — technology and insurance administration fees are covered by us
- Pay period runs Monday–Sunday; earnings are processed the following week
- Direct deposit or debit card payout every Friday
- Currently scheduling Mondays only, with 2–3 day/week rotations available as volume increases heading into winter
INSURANCE
- Valid auto insurance is required.
- Commercial auto insurance is preferred.
- If you do not currently have the required coverage, insurance coverage may be available through our program, subject to eligibility and applicable requirements.
This is an independent contractor (1099) position. Drivers are responsible for their own vehicle, fuel, insurance, and applicable taxes.
Pay: $275.00 - $325.00 per day
