In this role, you will support the flow of play, assist golfers with course etiquette, and ensure an enjoyable and efficient experience for all players. Your positive attitude, communication skills, and attention to detail will help maintain the high standards of the Club.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, being outside in all conditions, and playing a key role in the overall golf experience.

Leadership & Culture
β’ Promote a positive and professional work environment

Golf Operations & Guest Experience
β’ Serve as the on-course customer service specialist
β’ Greet players and ensure a welcoming, enjoyable experience
β’ Monitor pace of play and maintain proper course flow
β’ Enforce course rules and etiquette standards
β’ Assist players with on-course needs and resolve issues as they arise
β’ Communicate regularly with the golf shop regarding course activity and updates
β’ Maintain awareness of the daily tee sheet and any special instructions
Course & Equipment Oversight
β’ Ensure all assigned equipment (radio, cart, etc.) is functioning properly
β’ Maintain accurate daily records of player counts
β’ Patrol the course consistently (from hole 18 to hole 1)
β’ Assist in keeping the course and surrounding areas clean and presentable
β’ Report maintenance or safety concerns to the golf shop promptly
Safety & Awareness
β’ Be prepared for changing weather conditions and follow inclement weather procedures
β’ Communicate effectively with the golf shop during weather alerts
β’ Follow all safety guidelines and protocols
β’ Remain calm and professional in high-pressure or fast-paced situations
Team & Club Support
β’ Check in regularly with golf shop staff for updates or reassignment
β’ Assist outside services staff as needed
β’ Continuously develop product knowledge and service skills
β’ Support overall golf operations and Club initiatives

β’ Previous golf course or hospitality experience preferred

β’ Knowledge of golf etiquette or willingness to learn
β’ Ability to remain calm under pressure

β’ Frequent walking, standing, bending, and movement across the course
β’ Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 80 pounds
β’ Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and inclement weather
β’ Exposure to typical outdoor and mechanical environments
