Snowmass Club is seeking Lifeguards to ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable aquatic environment for all members and guests. From vigilant supervision to maintaining a pristine pool deck, this role is essential in delivering peace of mind and exceptional hospitality.

π What Youβll Do
π Safety & Member Supervision
β’ Monitor all pool activity to ensure the safety of members and guests
β’ Enforce pool rules and maintain a safe, respectful environment
β’ Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies using approved rescue techniques
β’ Administer first aid for minor injuries and provide emergency care as needed
β’ Participate in ongoing safety training and risk management programs
π§ͺ Pool Safety & Maintenance
β’ Maintain knowledge of pool chemistry, safety standards, and rescue procedures
β’ Ensure pool deck is clean, organized, and hazard-free
β’ Check and restock first aid and safety equipment regularly
β’ Follow all safety guidelines consistent with American Red Cross standards
π§Ό Facility & Operational Excellence
β’ Perform daily opening and closing duties for the pool area
β’ Set up and store safety equipment, pool toys, and amenities
β’ Maintain cleanliness of pool, cabanas, and surrounding areas throughout the day
β’ Keep accurate records and reports as required by the Lead Lifeguard
π Member Engagement & Activities
β’ Organize and supervise poolside games and activities
β’ Assist in testing and certifying junior swimmers when appropriate
β’ Support club events and activities across departments as needed
π€ Team & Communication
β’ Communicate member concerns and safety issues to leadership
β’ Report unresolved disruptions that may impact safety
β’ Attend all required trainings, meetings, and development sessions
β’ Support team operations with flexibility, including weekends and holidays

β’ Previous lifeguarding experience preferred

β’ Frequent swimming, bending, and quick response movements
β’ Ability to lift and assist individuals in emergency situations
β’ Regular exposure to sun, heat, and varying weather conditions
