Snow Tubing Hill Attendant

Snowcat Ridge: Seasonal Snow Tubing Hill Attendant Position

Are you looking for an exciting, high-energy role at the heart of the action? Do you enjoy being part of an upbeat team that values safety, teamwork, and excellent customer service?

Join Snowcat Ridge, Florida's first Alpine Snow Park, as a Snow Tubing Hill Attendant for our exciting winter season. You'll work on Snowy Slopes, our 60-foot tall, 400-foot long snow tubing hill, launching single, tandem, and 10-person snow tubes and keeping riders safe from the top of the hill to the bottom. This is a great opportunity to work outdoors in a lively setting, under our nightly music and light show, and help guests have the ride of their lives. No snow tubing experience is necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Launch single, tandem, and 10-person snow tubes safely and at the correct spacing
• Check that riders meet height, weight, and age requirements before they ride
• Explain and enforce ride rules, including holding handles, keeping legs tucked in, wearing hats backwards, and no phones during the ride
• Combine smaller groups so 10-person tubes run full, and reduce capacity when riders' combined size requires it
• Direct riders at the bottom of the hill to stay in their lane and walk to the exit
• Organize and return snow tubes so they are ready for the next riders
• Manage the tube corral, regular lines, and VIP Fast Pass lanes so guests move smoothly
• Watch lane conditions and tube speeds, and help adjust friction mats and tube types as directed
• Stop the ride and report safety concerns, injuries, or guest disputes to a supervisor immediately

Work Areas You May Be Assigned To

• Top of the Hill: Load riders into tubes and launch them down their lanes
• Bottom of the Hill: Help riders exit their lanes safely and send tubes back to the top
• Tube Corral and Lines: Check rider requirements, form 10-person tube groups, and manage regular and VIP Fast Pass lanes

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Dependable, task-oriented, and friendly
• Confident, clear communication, including when enforcing safety rules
• Strong attention to detail with rider requirements and safety procedures
• Reliable with punctuality and following instructions
• Available for weekends, evenings, and holidays during the season
• Able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours, lift up to 40 lbs, move large snow tubes, and work outdoors on cold, wet, and slippery surfaces in various weather conditions, including after dark

Helpful but Not Required

• Experience at a ski resort, snow tubing park, water park, or amusement ride (training provided)
• Customer service, hospitality, or theme park experience

What We Provide

• Uniform to wear during your shifts
• Paid training on snow tubing operations, rider requirements, and safety procedures
