Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of food items with precision, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Operate POS systems such as Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and upselling menu items to enhance sales opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning food prep areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change.
• Assist in food handling, storage, and inventory management to ensure freshness and compliance with health regulations.
• Support team members in food preparation, serving, and other duties as needed in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting.

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or retail environments with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
• Strong culinary skills combined with excellent time management to handle busy service periods effectively.
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales while providing detailed product knowledge.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience working in fast-paced environments like quick service or fast food restaurants is highly desirable.
