Location: Vernon, NJ Reporting to: Guest Experience Manager

About Mountain Creek:

Mountain Creek, a four-season resort, offering skiing/snowboarding, bike park, waterpark, weddings, mountain coaster, restaurants, and lodge.

How the Mascot Performer works with the Team:

The Mascot Performer is responsible for engaging and entertaining guests while representing Mountain Creek in a professional manner. We are seeking an animated person who can provide high-energy to our character during daily on-site appearances at Mountain Creek. A warm and engaging personality is a must. This role requires that the candidate be capable of handling the physical demands of the costume.

Team Member Responsibilities:

Perform as the official mascot of Mountain Creek
Engage guests and encourage interaction
Maintain costume and props
Must wear and perform in assigned mascot costume at all times while working
Work in all weather conditions while wearing the mascot costume

Team Member Qualifications:

Prior mascot experience is a plus
Strong people skills and ability to engage with individuals of all backgrounds and ages, especially children
Must be reliable to report to work on-time and to work in assigned area independently
Strong interpersonal and nonverbal communication skills; all interactions are respectful and appropriate for the audience
Comfortable with crowds and public interaction
Due to costume restrictions, applicants must be between 5’8” and 6’0”
Can lift up to 25 pounds

Salary : $16
