F&B Supervisor (Guide) – Mountain Creek
Location: Vernon, NJ Reporting to: Food and Beverage Manager

Mountain Creek, a four-season resort, offering skiing/snowboarding, bike park, waterpark, weddings, mountain coaster, restaurants and lodge.
How the Food and Beverage Guide works with the Team:
The Guide position will be responsible for overseeing team members and the operation within the trails. This position will lead by example, ensuring our guests receive a consistent, high-quality experience while our team remains supported and structured. The Guide will lead with a positive attitude, excellent organizational skills, coaching, and motivational skills. This position also takes an active role in monitoring and promoting a safe work environment.
Team Member Responsibilities:
- Actively monitor the floor and kitchen to ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are being followed. Troubleshoot issues in real time.
- Verify the completion of opening, and closing checklists to ensure the team and facility is always "guest-ready."
- Conduct regular checks on food presentation, taste, and service speed to maintain Mountain Creek standards.
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert for frontline staff; answer questions and provide "in-the-moment" coaching on technical skills.
- Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance needs immediately to prevent operational delays.
Team Member Qualifications:

- Workflow Coordination: Monitor team deployment and adjust positions as needed to manage peak periods and minimize bottlenecks
- Assist in the training of new hires by demonstrating correct techniques and reinforcing company culture.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all sanitary procedures (e.g., temperature logs, cross-contamination prevention, PPE usage) are being enforced.
- Assist leadership with accurate on-hand inventory counts and waste tracking.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.

- Ability to deal effectively with guests
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in both Front-of-House (service) and Back-of-House (kitchen) operations.
- Ability to give constructive feedback and motivate a team during high-volume shifts.
- Written communication through end of shift reports and email requests.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to great service.

- High attention to detail; ability to manage checklists, while receiving and delegating tasks simultaneously.
- Clear, professional verbal communication skills interacting with Team and guests in person or via Radio
