Lead Boutique Associate

About the Role

We are a growing boutique with two locations, and we are looking for a Lead Boutique Associate to support daily store operations and work closely with our Store Supervisor. This role is ideal for someone who loves retail, enjoys leadership on the floor, and takes pride in creating a welcoming, well-run shopping environment.

Lead Associates play a key role in maintaining store flow, supporting staff, and ensuring excellent customer experiences — without carrying full managerial responsibility.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as a lead presence on the sales floor
• Support daily opening and closing procedures
• Assist with staff questions during shifts
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store
• Provide excellent customer service and sales support
• Help maintain store standards and procedures
• Support training of new associates as directed
• Communicate issues or needs to the Supervisor or Owner
• Occasionally provide solo coverage during slower shifts

What You WON’T Be Responsible For

• Scheduling or payroll
• Hiring or firing
• Financial decisions
• Social media or website management
• Vendor relations
• Visual merchandising strategy
• Final operational decisions

Schedule & Availability

• Must be available at least 20 hours/week
• Typical schedule is closer to 30 hours/week
• Ability to flex to full-time hours during busy seasons
• Will be primarily assigned to one store, with ability to support the other when needed

• Retail or customer service experience preferred
• Strong reliability and communication skills
• Comfortable taking initiative while following direction
• Friendly, calm, and professional demeanor
• Ability to work independently when needed
• Someone who enjoys being part of a team and growing with a business

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
