Position Overview

Now Hiring: Showroom Associate

Location: Norwell, MA

Compensation: $20 - $26 hourly

Schedule: 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday; 9am – 2pm Rotating Saturdays

Snow and Jones, Inc. is a premier plumbing and heating wholesale distributor. Since 1952 we have been a family owned business providing the South Shore and Cape Cod with exceptional products and customer service. We currently have an opening for a full time Showroom Associate at our Norwell location:

Background in luxury sales preferred.  Position requires ability to learn technical knowledge.  Full training provided. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide full selection services of products to retail and trade clients. Provide selection information to plumbers, builders, architects, homeowners, designers- strong ability to communicate with array of clients
• Work with clients to ensure selections are accurate and include all necessary components
• Provide clients with accurate pricing and lead times
• Coordinate selection and purchase with retail/trade clients to confirm all selections
• Maintain and grow relationships with Manufacturers Representatives to develop sales support for product lines and customer needs
• Communicate orders/inventory issues with Branch Manager and Showroom Manager
• Continued education/growth to provide customers with best service/technical information
• Work with Branch Managers to schedule accurate deliveries
• Provide timely customer follow-up
• Develop relationship with trade clients to continue loyal sales growth
• Work with Outside Sales to provide leads for trade customer development

Qualifications:

• Prior sales experience, plumbing/HVAC preferred but mechanical skills translate well
• Willingness and ability to learn new industry products.
• Positive attitude and desire to grow relationships with customers.
• Ability to multitask and organize.

Norwell- Position is Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM and every 3rd Saturday 9-2 with one week day off per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday- schedule workable with manager). In summer Saturdays are 8:00AM-12:00PM .  Position ranges $20-26/hourly based on experience.  Fully trained sales associates are eligible for vendor/showroom incentives and total ranges on this are available to discuss during interviews.  Employees after 1 year are eligible for showroom bonus program.  This is not a commissioned position.
