Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately according to established recipes and safety standards
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems Micros POS to process customer orders efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with sanitation and food safety regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or quick service restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards within the food industry
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and positive approach
