Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently according to established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing customer orders and transactions
- Manage customer orders with accuracy, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction
- Upsell menu items to enhance sales and improve the customer experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace, including kitchen equipment, dining areas, and service stations
- Handle cash register operations, process cash and card transactions accurately, and balance cash drawers at shift end
- Assist with food handling, serving, bussing tables, and ensuring food safety protocols are followed at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment operation, and food safety management
- Ability to manage time effectively in a high-volume setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous but training will be provided
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment
