    Job Summary: Under the direction of the Building Administrator and classroom teacher, is responsible for supporting the elementary educational process. Specific responsibilities for this position are as described on the attached job description.

    Special Duties/Responsibilities: Duties include recess and lunch supervision as well as providing academic classroom support.

    Salary Range: $26.43 - $30.09 Paraeducator A per 2025-26 Public School Employees Salary Schedule
    Above pay rates do not include holiday and pay in lieu of vacation, which increases the hourly compensation.

    Work Schedule:
    • Start Date: January 5, 2026
    • Shift: Monday through Friday, 9:15 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
    • Paid Hours: 5.25 hours per day
    • Lunch Break: 30-minutes unpaid break
    • Calendar: 9 months/year; enjoy time office during spring break, winter break and summer, plus 10 paid holidays.

    Qualifications:
    • Be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent, and meet one (1) of the following:
      • Have received a score of 455 on the ETS ParaPro (https://www.ets.org/parapro),or a qualifying score on the Pearson Paraprofessional assessment or Master Teacher Inc. Paraeducator Training Program
      • Hold an associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university
      • Have earned 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at the 100 level or higher at an accredited college or university
    • Upon hire, must complete the Fundamental Course of Study (FCS)-Paraeducator Certificate.
    • Ability to meet the qualifications as listed on the job description for this position.
