What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data & Donor Experience Specialist position at Snohomish County Boys and Girls Club?
The Data & Donor Experience Specialist plays a critical role in resource development at the
Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County by maintaining and strengthening the philanthropic
data infrastructure. This includes managing, analyzing, and leveraging data to inform
organizational strategy and support operations that engage and steward constituents, partners,
and donors.
This position manages the essential day-to-day administrative responsibilities of the team
as well as special projects related to the maintenance and growth of Philanthropy’s
infrastructure and operational goals. This position will support the Organization’s Strength
and Sustainability through data management and logistics that support donor cultivation
and stewardship. This includes tasks associated with events and other administrative
function that support the resource development team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Accurately process high-volume gift and transaction data, ensuring data integrity and
compliance with establishing workflows and standards
● Perform complex data entry and maintain strong data hygiene practices
● Collaborate to refine, improve, and document processes and workflows
● Maintain systems for tracking donor interactions and contact notes
● Create and follow established gift processing and handling procedures and documentation
● Field constituent and gift record updates, as well as other data maintenance requests
● Support data & reporting needs to executive staff, Board of Directors & fundraisers within the
department
● Pull and prepare data lists for appeals, invitations, donor prospecting, and stewardship efforts
● Collaborate with the Accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting, timely
reconciliation, and compliance with charitable tax requirements
● Support development team to track gifts, pledges, invoices, and sponsorship revenue
● Respond to donor and internal inquiries while providing excellent customer service
● Assist with additional projects that support fundraising, stewardship, and event success
● Ensure confidentiality and integrity of donor data in alignment with organizational policies and
ethical standards
● Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
● High School diploma or GED
● Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support, fundraising, event coordination,
or donor relations
● Proficiency with a CRM, Raiser’s Edge/RENXT, or related fundraising software
● Strong attention to detail and experience maintaining accurate records or data systems
● Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
● A valid Washington State driver’s license, an acceptable driving record (as determined by our
insurance provider), and the ability to be insured under the organization’s vehicle policy
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
● Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration,
Communications, or related field
● Familiarity with tools and techniques to maintain high levels of accuracy in data entry and
complex transaction processing
● Highly developed organizational and information management skills
● Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively within a complex organization
● Ability to handle and respect confidential and sensitive information

Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not
limited to relevant education and experience, and job-related skills and competencies.
