Attorney

About Us:

SNK Petroleum is a growing petroleum wholesale company located in Danbury, CT. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Attorney to join our team full-time and support our expanding legal needs.

Location: Mill Plain Road, Danbury, CT

Responsibilities:

• Handle real estate closings and related transactional work
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents
• Liaise and correspond with outside attorneys on various matters
• Represent company interests in litigation proceedings as needed
• Handle tenant-related legal matters including lease review and landlord-tenant issues
• Prepare and process legal paperwork, filings, and correspondence
• Ensure company operations remain in regulatory and legal compliance
• Advise management on legal risks and obligations

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in the State of Connecticut (or eligible for admission)
• Experience in real estate law, transactional work, or related field preferred
• Familiarity with environmental regulations and DEC compliance a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines simultaneously
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced business environment
