Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate Crown Reach Trucks and other heavy equipment.
- Perform materials handling tasks using RF scanners for accurate inventory management.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure operational safety and compliance.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials from trucks and various storage locations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering strictly to OSHA standards.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily production and operational goals.
- Execute heavy lifting tasks when required, always utilizing proper and safe lifting techniques.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven proficiency in heavy equipment operation, specifically Crown Reach Trucks.
- Experience in materials handling within a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Familiarity with RF scanner usage for inventory tracking and management.
- Utilize Computer Systems and/or WMS (Warehouse Management System) to navigate tasks, manage workflows, and receive/process pick waves.
- Ability to operate other equipment such as Sit-Down Forklift. .
- Basic troubleshooting skills for equipment are beneficial.
- Solid understanding of OSHA regulations relevant to warehouse operations.
- Capability to safely perform heavy lifting tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and a steadfast commitment to safety protocols.
- Ability to work effectively on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Shift.
