- Associates Degree or equivalent work experience
- Class C Driver's License and insurable by company standards
- Experience in a similar role or closely aligned industry
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Prior DMV knowledge (local and state a plus)
- Oversee regular safety inspections and audits
- Ensure vehicles meet safety and emissions standards
- Maintain records for all vehicles, ensure regulatory requirements are met
- Coordinate vehicle leases, purchases, and disposals
- Conduct quarterly fleet surveys and support branch operations as needed
- Monitor fleet expenses and work within budget guidelines in collaboration with the Sr. Fleet Manager
- Understands the principles and practices of environmental, occupational health, safety, risk, and emergency management
- Experience with the methods and techniques of accident reporting and investigations
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and operate other software (AS400, SAP, BTN, etc.)
- Working knowledge of vehicle regulations, licensing requirements, and applicable state and federal compliance standards
- Must have strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills, as well as close attention to detail
