Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various printing presses and related equipment to produce high-quality printed materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor large-format printers, flexo presses, and screen printing machines to meet production specifications
- Interpret production documents, including layouts and color management instructions, to ensure accurate reproduction
- Adjust industrial equipment for optimal performance, including calibration of color and registration
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing machinery to minimize downtime
- Execute cutting, paper binding, and finishing processes to prepare printed materials for delivery
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to maintain high standards
- Collaborate with graphic designers and prepress teams using Adobe Creative Suite
Requirements
- Proven experience operating various printing equipment such as large-format printers, flexo presses, or screen printing machines
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to adjust industrial equipment accurately
- Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and prepress software
