We're partnering on a Senior Accountant Financial Reporting opportunity that offers exceptional exposure to financial reporting, consolidations, technical accounting, and transaction analysis within a publicly traded organization. This role provides direct interaction with external auditors, cross-functional business partners, and senior leadership, while supporting the accounting and reporting processes for multiple entities consolidated into the public company's financial statements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing consolidation and elimination processes while reconciling to source general ledgers
- Preparing quarterly financial statements, footnotes, and close packages
- Preparing consolidated cash flow statements
- Evaluating and documenting accounting implications of complex transactions
- Supporting internal controls over financial reporting
- Producing analytical reports and assisting with strategic ad hoc projects
We're seeking professionals who bring:
- A CPA and Accounting degree (or international equivalent)
- Approximately 3–6 years of accounting experience, including some public accounting
- SEC reporting, or investment company experience preferred
- Strong financial analysis, modeling, and data interpretation capabilities
- Advanced Excel skills; Workiva experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner with auditors and internal stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
