Senior Accounting Analyst
We are partnering with a highly stable, large-scale manufacturing organization to add a Senior Accounting Analyst to their team. This position offers significant exposure to operations, leadership, and career progression within a well-established and growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead month-end close activities related to plant operations, including journal entries, account analysis, and variance explanations
- Monitor and evaluate production-related costs, identifying trends and drivers impacting financial performance
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes tied to manufacturing output and spend
- Partner with operations teams to ensure accurate financial data tied to inventory and production activity
- Assist with cycle counts, physical inventory observations, and reconciliation processes
- Analyze financial results and provide insights to leadership through reporting and ad hoc analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2 years of experience in accounting or finance (manufacturing exposure preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets
- Progress toward or interest in a CPA or similar certification is a plus
