Key Responsibilities
- Prepare working papers, journal entries, trial balances, and allocation schedules for Limited Partnerships, including master-feeder structures and separately managed accounts
- Prepare GAAP financial statements
- Produce investor reporting and fund performance returns
- Calculate and prepare capital call and distribution notices
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax preparers, reviewing their work as applicable
- Partner with trading, marketing, and investor relations teams as needed
- Serve as an internal point of contact for accounting and reporting deliverables
- Take on additional responsibilities and projects as you grow in the role
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in:
- Public accounting (Big 4 strongly preferred), or
- Fund administration, or
- Investment accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA (or parts passed) is a strong plus
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong interest in learning the investment and securities industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- Willingness to “do what it takes” to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work
- Ability to think independently, adapt to change, and manage multiple priorities
