SNI has partnered with a dynamic and rapidly expanding Fortune 500 organization in search of an experienced Corporate Accounting Manager to join their team due to promotion and growth!
This role serves as a critical member of the corporate finance organization, supporting multiple operating units and overseeing key accounting activities to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to accounting standards and internal controls. The position partners closely with both corporate and business-level leadership, contributes to audit and compliance efforts, and takes on a variety of ad hoc accounting and finance initiatives. The opportunity is designed with clear upward mobility, offering a defined progression into a future Controller role!
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders to evaluate and apply appropriate accounting approaches for non-routine, judgmental, and complex transactions
- Own end-to-end accounting oversight for assigned business units, including review of general ledger activity, cost data, and key operating indicators to ensure accuracy and integrity
- Serve as the primary point of contact between operating teams and centralized finance, facilitating communication, issue resolution, and alignment
- Drive consistency and best practices by delivering training and hands-on support related to financial systems, accounting policies, and internal procedures
- Led periodic close activities, coordinating monthly and quarterly timelines, reviews, and deliverables for supported divisions
- Lead month-end close processes, ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP
Qualifications/Education:
- BS/BA in Accounting or Finance
- 7- 10 years of progress accounting experience
- Public accounting experience background if helpful not required
- CPA – preferred
- Knowledge of US GAAP
- Financial reporting
- Detail-oriented/strong organizational skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
