Base Salary: $90,000–$120,000 (negotiable and based on background/experience)

About the Opportunity

SNI Companies is partnering with a well-established site development contractor in the Reisterstown, MD area to identify a Civil Site Estimator. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with a stable and growing organization that focuses heavily on residential development projects, including multifamily, townhomes, and select single-family work.

Candidates must have strong field awareness and an understanding of how projects are executed in real-world construction environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare complete and accurate civil sitework estimates from concept through final bid
• Estimate projects involving earthwork, grading, erosion control, underground utilities, and stormwater management
• Review plans, specifications, and takeoffs to ensure full scope coverage
• Coordinate with internal field leadership to validate means, methods, and production assumptions
• Support contract review, change order pricing, and job cost tracking when applicable
• Utilize estimating software (Agtek or similar) to develop competitive bids
• Participate in handoff meetings and collaborate with project teams post-award
• Required Qualifications
• 3 years of experience as a Civil Site Estimator
• Strong experience estimating residential development projects (multifamily, townhomes, residential subdivisions)
• Background estimating projects that include grading, utilities, erosion control, and stormwater
• Field-driven mindset; ideal candidates have worked their way up through the field (e.g., foreman or similar)
• Comfortable working in a construction / blue-collar environment
