Responsibilities
The Director of Nursing will:
- Oversee all nursing services and clinical operations within the facility.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff, including nurse managers and supervisors.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and monitor clinical outcomes.
- Maintain survey readiness and support regulatory compliance efforts.
- Collaborate with the Administrator, Medical Director, and interdisciplinary team.
- Promote a positive work environment focused on teamwork and resident-centered care.
- Assist with staffing strategies, retention efforts, and employee development.
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Previous leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
- Prior Director of Nursing experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and survey processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively manage clinical teams and operations.
- Competitive salary of $90,000-$120,000 annually, based on experience.
